Kuala Pilah town seats in an area where the Main Range is ending. There was this wide valley running eastwards. The town just commanded the flow of traffic from the valley into the hills. Hence, you could see many lower hills that surrounded the town. The Rest House looked like a mansion perched on one of such low hill. Behind this hill, there was also a taller hills. The road to hike that hill also ended in front of the rest house. What was significant was, this stretch of road was popular to the local joggers.

This was yet another classy inn. It was clean, white washed and properly maintained.
Such points reflect on its status and importance in this frontier town. |
The properly trimmed lawn and the
majestic pillars that supported the Rest House.
Such scene helped to add a touch of class to this area! The lower floor in this picture, housed the town's popular Sea Food restaurant. This outfit was being operated by another independent contractor |
Further down the garden, on its side
corridor, there were more rooms.
Here we saw the room's exterior decorated with elegantly designed balcony. The room were fitted with split unit air-conditioner unit for maximum comfort! |
The Rest House complex came with 3
detached buildings as bungalows.
They too were equipped with air-conditioned. A porch had been featured with them for the occupants' car! |

We left the place with full satisfaction that the trip was worthwhile. having discovered beautiful places in Malaysia. |
