Lenggong

 Name sounds familiar

The name Lenggong sounded familiar. Most people had not been there.

No impression!

Coming in from Kuala Kangsar, travelers will be greeted by this signage on the right side.

It was located at the point when you started seeing houses in row. Away from the rural scene.

Yes! This town needs a Rest House and badly too. Otherwise where would the people have met. To have a decent place for a formal dinner when the occasion needed one.?

This picture with car parked beside shows the dinner hall, community hall and canteen.

Here is a glimpse into that multi-purpose utility hall.

Attached to that "main" building was an annex where the living quarters were.

At the time of our visit, renovation work was in progress to expand the number of rooms available for rent!

Guests there were enjoying the television and having their afternoon tea!

Overall, Lenggong, a small town jive in well with the original concept of "Rest House" while the larger town proved that such concept had gone outdated!
