The Rest House - it was another beautiful relics tuck away in forgotten land! This building and place for a Rest House was really a classic examples that we have been looking for! The Rest House was located among buildings and offices of statutory bodies on Bukit Hampar! It was on the left bank, along the northern approach road into Segamat town. Just a stone throw away from the football field!

The carefully manicured lawn bring
out its splendid environment. No matter where we were
within its compound, there was beauty.
All this ambience available amidst a bustling urban center of Segamat town!
Beside the majestic exterior, the mood inside was matched by a sitting room with "royal" touch! |

with the vacant basement!
The care taker had kept this whole complex meticulous, even the floor under the building! |

Such a beautiful and carefully preserved place, but it was a pity then that the complex was reserved mainly for dignitaries. While it was supposed to be available to the public but request were seldom entertained! With this policy, it was hard to imagine that serving food was part of the regular services! We were surprised that they did that. |
