All in one breadth?

There were 2 Rest houses, existing at one time.

The older one was also at th edge of the Lake Garden was then under consideration. To save or for conversion to some other uses. {We didn't see any activities there, meaning no poster or sign of work on rennovation}

The current one on the hill. For those who has not being there, strongly recommended to do so for nostalgic reasons.

This building acted as the official residence of the Resident of the British Empire.

Same status as the "Carcosa" in the Lake Gardens of Kuala Lumpur but in an earlier era?

We were disappointed with the upkeep of this very nostalgic and classical building. The management of the Rest House too had plenty of rooms for improvement. For the price charged ? Oh let's forget about the short comings. Just simply make it our point, to taste the splendor of those yesteryears.
