Town at the estuary

The Rest House building came in the form of a large compound complex. It was very near to the banks of the estuary.  But with developments, other structures blocked the view. So one cannot feel that the place was near to the waterfront.

The main coastal road of the southern approach into town passed right in front of it

There was a large land bank set aside for this project of Rest house.

Hence, the empty large field put the  building and the main road, in great distance apart. Couldn't understand what this huge land bank was designated for!

The building of the Rest house here was dwarfed by that of the school.

It was a modern bungalow with annexes as rooms. The main building housed the receptions and dinning area

Another view now showing the row of rooms in a double stories annex

On the far end of the field adjacent to the main building was this isolated bungalow.

There were a couple rooms here and were also available to tenants who preferred some privacy! It is shown as the small building on the right of the picture

This is the interior and also the luxurious dinning area.

The counter on the left was the reception counter on raised floor

Having seen the lay out as well as the up keeping of the dinning area, we were impressed. Then it was lunch time, its patronage was very good. We noted the capability of the contactor!

More discussion with the husband and wife pair. We confirmed our belief that they were good in what they were doing!
